Edith Scuderi

Scuderi, Edith Grace Age 92, passed away Friday, August 23, 2013. She was born January 20, 1921 in New York City to Dominic and Amelia Ambrosio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Scuderi; siblings, Biagio, Mary, and Felice. Edith is survived by her children, Louis Scuderi, and Michael Scuderi; grandchildren, Louis, Benjamin, Ryan, and Grace; siblings, Louise, Nancy, and Emily. Edith was a faithful wife and mother. Daughter of Italian immigrants, she was married to her husband Louis for nearly 60 years. She worked as a seamstress in New York City. She met her future husband Louis in 1950 at Roseland Dance Hall and they were married on September 7th, 1952. Their first son, Louis was born in 1954 and their second son, Michael was born in 1956. In 1962 they moved to Los Angeles where she was a homemaker raising her two sons. Her husband retired from Rockwell in 1987 and they later moved to Rio Rancho in 1994. She spent time in her retirement years with Louis traveling and visiting her grandchildren and family. She lived a long, and fruitful life, looking out for the welfare of her family. Her family was her life. We will miss her. Edith was a deeply religious person, constantly praying for the welfare of her family and many other people. She cared for the welfare of the world.
