Eduardo Horacio Sanchez

Sanchez, Edward H. Age 74, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012. Edward was born on December 1, 1937 in Manzano, New Mexico to Carmen Valdez and Eduardo Sanchez. He grew up in Manzano and Belen, moving to Albuquerque where he pursued a career in the printing industry. After a number of accolades and a lengthy career in the printing industry, he moved to Elephant Butte to slow down. He did continue to work, but at a slower pace. He won the hearts of locals and was assimilated into the community. Edward enjoyed socializing and everyone enjoyed having him around. He will be missed by all. Edward is survived by his longtime companion, Mo Tooley; seven children, twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, also a sister; Helen Sanchez and brother; Daniel Sanchez. A visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Monday, August 6, 2012 at Daniels Family Funeral Services Carlisle Chapel and the service will begin at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Sierra Vista Hospice, 1400 North Silver, Truth or Consequences, NM 87901.
