EDULIA (JULIA) GOMEZ, 76, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend of many, was taken from us by the Angels of our Heavenly Father to his house in Heaven on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at her home in Bloomfield. Edulia was born in Monero, New Mexico. Edulia was preceded in death by her father, Celestino Valdez, mother, Delfina (Martinez) Valdez, 2 brothers, 5 sisters, first husband, Abe Martinez and 2 sons-in-law. Mrs. Gomez is survived by her loving husband, Emilio Gomez; 8 children, Diane Gonzales, Abe Martinez, Dolores (Eduardo) Guerrero, Danny Martinez, Patricia (Sergio) Cortez, Loretta Arellano, David Martinez, and Angela (David) Gonzalez; 23 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; 3 brothers, Jose Valdez, Daniel Valdez, and Robert (Bobby) Valdez; 2 sisters, Stella Gutierrez and Eileen Valencia, and numerous relatives and friends. Julia had a passion for Bingo and the Casino. She will be remembered by her loving smile and her lasting impression in all of our lives. Julia will be forever missed by her family and friends. Julia's arrangements are entrusted to:
