Edward James Belmore

Belmore, Edward James Our �gentle spirit�, age 54 of Rio Rancho, NM entered the eternal kingdom surrounded by the love of his family and pastor Michael on Monday, February 24, 2014. He is preceded in death and was loved very much by his father-in-law, Lyle Peterson, of Santa Fe, NM; his grandparents, Edward and Dorothy Belmore, Harry, Vi and Thelma Thompson; sister, Kimberly Barry; special friends, Charlie Holcomb and Tim Hurley. Ed is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie; parents, Edward and Phyllis Belmore of Gwinn, MI; Patricia and Dennis Thompson-Ford, of Ellendale, ND; his mother-in law, Nina and Ted Peterson-Osborn, of Shelby, MI; his brother, Tim and Jennifer Belmore, of ND, brother, Clark; sisters, Laura Taube, Beverly, Cheryl and Sandra Belmore, of MI. Edward was supported and loved dearly by his in-laws, Steve and Bernadette Peterson, of Santa Fe, NM; Scott and Delores Peterson, of Rio Rancho, NM; Shari and Dan Dekker, of Muskegon, MI. He was loved by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, as well as his god child, Marissa Peterson. He was loved by many very special friends, the Woods, the Trinkaus, the Lentkoops, and the Crites families. Amazing caretakers especially loved him; Abby Jaramillo, of Albuquerque, NM, Rochelle Hartley, of MI, and Robin Learn, of Rio Rancho, NM. Many special people in Santa Fe and the Rio Rancho Nursing Center have cared and supported him throughout his life, we send a heartfelt thank you. A celebration of Edward�s life will be held at 6:30 pm, Monday, March 3, 2014 at Community of Joy Lutheran Church, 841 Saratoga Drive, Rio Rancho, NM. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made Community of Joy Lutheran Church Building Fund in celebration of Edward Belmore.
