Edward James Filmer

FILMER-Edward James Filmer, 78, a resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, June 4, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Hiromi Margaret; daughter Patricia Cooksey; sons Marvin Filmer and wife, Stephanie, Edward Filmer II, Victor Filmer and wife, Toni; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Filmer; grandchildren, Christine and husband, Tony; Justin and wife, Maggie and Shane, Denette, Krystal, Chandra, David and wife, Jeannie, Brian and wife, Kori, Jason and wife, Kelly, Marshall and fianc�?©, Monique, Brittany, Cory, Christy, Sabrina, Shawn, Kasie, Eddie, Chelsea, Zachary and Dwight; great grandchildren, Cameron, Conner, Katie, Isabella, Miranda, Joseph, Shayla, Monique, Dillon, Savanna, David, Jadyn, Desiree, Ashland, Jason, Isaiah, Josiah, Brianna, Ethan, Ryan, Jaedyn, Anthony, Dakota, Jadyn and Cassey; and numerous other relatives and friends who loved, admired and cared for him. Edward was preceded in death by his father, George, mother, Edna Barry, daughter, Mieko and son, David. Edward was born on August 8, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio, served in active duty for 22 years in the US Army, with two tours of duty in Japan and Korea. Edward was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
