Edward Earl Hopper-Edward "Earl" Hopper of Bloomfield passed away Monday September 7, 2009. He was born August 24, 1930 in Clovis, New Mexico to Julian and Verdie (Lane) Hopper. Earl was an avid outdoorsman; he was particularly fond of camping and also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was also the proud owner of Woody's Safety Service for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clarence Hopper, Kenneth Hopper and Leroy Hopper and his son David Earl Hopper. Earl is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Dulcia Hopper; daughter, Linda Hopper of Farmington, NM; daughter in law, Barbara Hopper of Aurora, CO; sister, Joyce (Joe) Johnson of Kosse, TX; brothers, George ( Fran) Hopper of Jasper, AL, Olan ( Valerie) Hopper of Aztec, NM;; grandchildren; Christine ( Donald) Jacobs of Aurora, CO, Michelle ( Arthur) Hilstrom of Williamsburg, VA, Jacqueline ( Christopher) Johnson of Providence Forge, VA, Alicia Atencio of Bloomfield, NM and Jason Walker of Farmington, NM.
