Edward Benjamin Tapia

Edward Benjamin Tapia, age 41, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away unexpectedly on January 17, 2025. He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane "Dee" Marie Tapia, his father, Eduino Leroy Tapia, and his grandparents Anselmo Marquez, Macario Mike Garcia, Max and Amalia Gonzalez.

Ben was a beloved father, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was known for his quick wit, infectious laughter, and his ability to light up any room. Whether cracking jokes or offering a kind word when it was needed most, Ben's sense of humor and generosity left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter, Janessa Montoya; his grandmother, MaryAnn Marquez; his sisters Darlene Tapia, Veronica (Axel) Pressoir, and Stephanie "Vanessa" (Anthony) Mason; as well as many cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a wide circle of close friends.
