Age 52, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017. She was born in Socorro, NM on July 23, 1964, to Rafael and Molly Lopez Baca. Edwina was a people person. She was always laughing, smiling and making conversation. She enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. Edwina, a pool shark at her finest, also enjoyed a friendly game of pool. Above all Edwina's greatest devotion was to her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Joseph Armijo; and brother, Lino Baca. Edwina is survived by her husband of 37 years, Edwin Armijo; sons, Edwin (Michelle) Armijo Jr., Matthew Armijo and John Paul Armijo; grandson, Elijah Armijo; granddaughter, Serentee Armijo; sisters, Rosie Baca, Margie Baca, Della Baca, Unella Baca and Helen Baca Strasser; and brothers, Gilbert Baca, Ricky Baca, Gregorio Baca and Kenneth Baca. Services will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 309 Garfield, Socorro, NM. With Pastor Alvino Hernandez officiating. Interment to follow at San Miguel Catholic Cemetery, Socorro, NM. Pallbearers will be James Vaughn, Elijah Armijo, Rafael Baca, Lino Baca, Robert Saiz Jr., Ted Armijo and Joshua Baca.
