Eileen Morosco, 92, a resident of Albuquerque for the past 35 years, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2015.  She was born on January 15, 1923 to Walter and Ethel Louisa Bunn, in London, UK.  As a teenager, at the beginning of World War II, she took a job as a typist at the British Foreign Office in London.  Of several enduring memories, the sharpest was that of having a brief telephone conversation with Winston Churchill himself. .  She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, who she met and married when he was stationed in London in 1944.  As a War Bride, she later worked for Chrysler Corporation in Trenton, MI, retiring to Albuquerque to be with family.  Eileen was a longtime member of St. Marks Episcopal Church.  She is survived by her daughter, Diane Berry (Don); son, Philip (Cheryl); grandsons James Berry (Jenn) and Tony Morosco, and two great-grandsons, Asher and Lincoln Berry.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on August 17, 2015, St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 431 Richmond Drive, NE, Albuquerque. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Suzanne Pinon, Deborah Waldman and the Whitney House staff for their outstanding care and compassion. Donations may be given in Eileen's honor to St. Michaels Food Pantry, 601 Montano NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
