Eileen Murphy

Murphy, Eileen (Onuska) Of Rio Rancho, NM, died on Saturday, November 23, 2013. She was born in Melbourne, Australia, and came to this country in 1946 as the war bride of Marine SSgt. Paul R. Onuska who died in 1974. She was the beloved mother of Paul R. Onuska of Farmington, NM, Eileen (Mrs. N.W.) Sammis, of St. George, Utah, Chris Onuska of Rio Rancho, NM, and David Onuska of Albuquerque, NM. She was the loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She is survived by many relatives in Australia and her little dog, "Sparky." In 1988 she married Richard Murphy who died in 1999. Eileen was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America, the Altar Rosary Society, the Elks Ladies Auxiliary, and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary Post 5890. Viewing and Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM with the Rosary to be recited at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM. The Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, November 29, 2013 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM. Interment will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, December 2, 2013 at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM.
