Eileen Cabos Williams

August 23, 1951 — July 9, 2024

Alburquerque

On July 9, 2024, Eileen Marie Cabos Williams left this earth and ran into the arms of Jesus, the One she loved the most.

Eileen was born on August 23, 1951, in New Orleans, Louisiana to Edward and Helen Cabos. She was blessed with 3 siblings whom she loved dearly, Linda, Jan and Eddie.

She surrendered her heart to Jesus in April of 1971 and her life was forever changed.

She married Don Williams on December 11, 1971 and they had two children, Stephanie and Lisa. Stephanie later married LeeRoy de la Cerda and had two children, Benjamin and Rebekah. Lisa married Jason Dickenson and had three children, Mercy, Ava and Eden.

Don & Eileen spent their lives in ministry as Pastors of two churches, Community Worship Center in Plattenville, Louisiana for 18 years and Hosanna First Assembly in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for 31 years.

They retired to Albuquerque, New Mexico to be with family in 2023.

Eileen was a beacon of light. She had the uncanny ability to make every person she encountered feel like they were the most important person in the world. Her beautiful smile and sparkling blue eyes lit up every space she was in. She was nurturing and caring, always putting the needs of others before her own. She was the embodiment of the Fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. To know her was to love her and to be loved by her.

Eileen’s life was centered around Jesus, family, and friends. She loved to worship her Savior and spent much of her ministry leading others to do the same. Her love for her family and friends was unmatched and evident to all.

Eileen Williams will be missed beyond words but never forgotten. Her legacy will live on in the lives of her husband, 2 children, 5 grandchildren and those who were blessed to know her.

A memorial service to celebrate Eileen's life will be held at Harvest Church on Saturday, July 20th, 2024, at 2pm.
