SIFUENTES - ELIAS SR. Elias Sifuentes Sr., 93, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2011. He was born on May 25, 1918 to Jacinto and Francisca (DeLeon) Sifuentes, in Puerdas Negras. He was preceded in death by his father, Jacinto Sifuentes; mother, Francisca DeLeon Sifuentes; son, Richard Sifuentes; daughter, Rachel Sifuentes; brothers, Siro, Jacinto, Alejandro; sisters, Francisca, Ester, Valentina. Elias is survived by his wife of 64 years, Velia; 3 sons, Elias Sifuentes Jr. of San Antonio, TX, Alejandro Sifuentes of San Antonio, TX, Manolo Sifuentes of Albuquerque, NM; three daughters, Esther Sifuentes of Albuquerque, NM, Rebecca Sifuentes of Albuquerque, NM, Ramona Rodriguez and husband, Robert, of San Antonio, TX; two granddaughters, Samantha Perez and husband, Rey, Vanessa Rodriguez; grandson, Joseph Rodriguez and wife, Ester. Elias was a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico for 17 years, prior to that he lived in San Antonio, Texas. Visitation will take place Friday, July 01, 2011, from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Carlisle Chapel. Rosary will take place Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at 8:30 a.m., at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Carlisle Chapel. Interment to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Elias's honor to Ambercare Hospice, 2129 Osuna NE Albuquerque, NM 87113.
