Elida Garbin

GARBIN - Elida Garbin, 66, passed away on February 12, 2009. She was born May 24, 1942 in La Chorrera, Panama to Manuel and Elodia (Montero) Esturain. Elida was a resident of Albuquerque for 37 years. She retired as an LPN, also loved to shop and garden. Elida had unconditional love as a wife, mother and grandmother. She was a most caring and giving person. Elida is survived by her loving husband, H. Douglas Garbin; son and daughter in law, John and Danielle, and their daughter Victoria Coon; daughter and son in law, Caroline and Daryl Strong, and their son, Dylan Strong; brother and sister in law, Ronald and Mary Lou Garbin and their son Eric Garbin; brothers, Jose Alfonso Esturain, Luis Ernesto Esturain; sisters, Lilia Maria Esturain; niece, Olga and Juan Arguello, and their son, John Arguello; nephew, Gustavo Esturain; niece, Yaneth and Heriberto Acosta, and their children, Aaron, Amanda and Arianna; and numerous nieces and nephews in Panama. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Elida's memory to the American Cancer Society or charity of your choice.
