Elizabeth Hanson, age 87, passed away Friday, July 5, 2019. She was born in Crookston, MN on March 13, 1932, to Joseph and Mary Bastyr. She married Amos Donald Hanson in 1955 in Crookston, Minnesota and was married for 36 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Donald Hanson; father, Joseph Bastyr; mother, Mary Bastyr and brother David Bastyr.

Elizabeth is survived by daughter: Ellen Hanson Perry (Patrick); sons: Mark, Thomas and Kenneth Hanson; sister: Sharon Bastyr Gomez; grandchildren: Jennifer, Joseph, James, John and Paul; pets: Snowball and Ming Ling. She graduated from Mahnomen High School in 1950. Elizabeth worked for Qwest Communications and retired in 1997. She taught children religious education, enjoyed reading, listening to music, traveling, gardening and canning vegetables and was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church for many years. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to any Hospice Care Facility.
