Elizabeth R. Scalere passed away peacefully on April 15, 2018.
Raymond Logsdon and Elizabeth Gray were blessed with her birth on June 27th, 1933 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Elizabeth dedicated the beginning of her adulthood to the US Airforce, eventually earning the esteemed rank of Staff Sergent. She also earned a Good Conduct Medal and Occupation Medal.
Elizabeth married the love of her life, Michael P. Scalere on September 1st, 1956. They raised a family and shared 61 years together.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Debra M. Holtzen and son, Michael P. Scalere II.
She is survived by her husband, Michael P. Scalere of Albuquerque, NM, granddaughter, Christine E. Holtzen of Los Angeles, CA and grandson, Justin M. Holtzen of Albuquerque, NM.
Elizabeth enjoyed a successful career as a financial advisor. She loved cooking, baking and bridge. She was a member of Confederate Daughters of America, Grandmother's Club and Risen Savior Catholic Church. Most notable of all was her strong love and devotion to her family. Elizabeth will be lovingly remembered for her confident, intelligent and giving personality. She was beautiful and had impeccable style.
Elizabeth will always be deeply missed.
