Ella 'Sue' Livingston April 5, 1928 - July 17, 2009 Ella "Sue" Livingston, 81, of Farmington passed away Friday, July 17, 2009, at Four Corner's Good Samaritan Center in Aztec. Mrs. Livingston was born April 5, 1928, in Kennard, Neb., the daughter of Gifford Harold Pruner and Laura Marie (Pedersen) Pruner. She moved to Cortez, Colo., with her family at 6 months of age. On Nov. 18, 1948, Sue married Fred Livingston. Fred and Sue moved to Farmington in 1974, where she lived until her death. To this union was born their daughter, Laurie Sue. Fred and Sue spent many happy years together until Fred's death. Anyone who knew Sue knew that her home and her family were always the most important parts of her life. Fred and Sue were very close and always went everywhere together. Fred's death in 2008 was very difficult for Sue. She loved her hometown of Cortez and never really left Cortez in her heart. Sue was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred Livingston; sisters, Betty Herndon of Cortez and Katherine Gaines of Ohio; and a niece, Diane Smith of Cortez. She is survived by her twin sister, Mary Lou Till of Cortez; her daughter, Laurie Mills and her grandson, Daniel Mills, who was the light of her life. Also surviving are nephews, Bobby and Larry Yarbrough of Cortez; Sharon Allison of Ohio; numerous great nieces and nephews. Sue also is survived by her special canine friend, Penny Lane, and various friends and neighbors who found her kindness and caring endearing.
