Ella Mae Nez

Ella Mae Nez died July 2, 2011, in Albuquerque. She was born May 12, 1989, in Gallup. Nez was born into the Bitter Water People Clan and born for the Mud People Clan. Nez attended Gallup High School. She helped many people with traditional ceremonies with her mother. She loved to travel with her family and companion. She liked to play games and spending time with her family. Survivors include her mother, Evelyn Naswood of Mentmore; brother, Bobby Nez of Mentmore; sisters, Eleanor Nez, Charlene Nez, both of Mentmore; grandmother, Haskie Naswood of Twin Buttes. Nez was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Nez; grandmother, Juanita Naswood. Pallbearers will be family members. The family will receive relatives and friends at Evelyn Naswood residence, 437 D. Twin Buttes, Mentmore, following services.
