Ellora Palmer Christensen Spencer

Ellora "Lally" Palmer Christensen Spencer, 94, passed into eternal life on August 12, 2008, in Grants, New Mexico. She was born on March 11, 1914, to Asael Ernest Palmer and Lois Foutz Palmer. Lally was born and raised in Kirtland and graduated from Kirtland Central High School. She enjoyed dancing and was very talented at embroidery. Lally attended and taught Sunday school at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints for many years. She also served as secretary of the Relief Society. Lally will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. She is survived by her son Maurice Christensen and wife Judy of Grants, New Mexico, six grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Asael Ernest Palmer and Lois Foutz Palmer, her sisters: Estella Porterfield, June Ashcroft, Emma Lou Freestone, and Jessie Luthi, her brothers: Richard "Jim" Palmer, and Willard "Bill" Palmer.
