Age 89, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014. She was born in Texas on July 20, 1925, and adopted by Robert and Dorothy (Jones) Yochem. During her life she lived in many small towns in Texas and New Mexico, graduating from Carrizozo High School. Elouise was a very supportive mom and den mother, always willing to help. She actively participated with the Barbershop Women's Auxiliary and enjoyed crafting. She was a longtime member of Asbury United Methodist Church, serving in the Care Ministry.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Richard L. Dow. Elouise is survived by her husband, Kenneth Shrock; children, Rick Dow and Barbara Black, Vicki Dow and Urey Lemen; Keith and Darla Shrock, Cheryl and Deron Keever; brother, Robert and Barbara Yochem; grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Asbury United Methodist Church, 10000 Candelaria Road NE, Albuquerque, NM. In lieu of flowers, make donations to Asbury United Methodist Church or your favorite charity.
