Elsie Mae Davidson Latimer

Elsie Davidson Latimer was born in Tucumcari, NM on April 18, 1916 and died on May 12, 2011. She is survived by her husband, Don Latimer; her cousin’s husband, Wendell Snapp; cousins Stacy and Eric Moses and their son Daniel; Mark and Laura Snapp, her son John and Mark’s daughters, Andy and Sophie; all of Albuquerque. She is also survived by cousins Randy Davidson of Austin, TX and Larry Davidson of Flagstaff, AZ and their families. She grew up in Magdalena, and has been a resident of Albuquerque since 1966. She had over 40 years of government service retiring as Albuquerque Regional Personnel Director of the Bureau of Indian Affairs. We will all so miss this lovely lady who was devoted wife, good friend and outstanding person. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the La Mesa Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 7401 Copper NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108 or Daughters of the Nile, CRF Fund, 6600 Zuni SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108; The burial and graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Park at 2:30 PM on Saturday May 14, 2011. A memorial service will be held at Carter Hall, La Vida Llena Retirement Home at a later date. Elsie’s care has been entrusted to: Daniels Family Funeral Services, 3113 Carlisle Boulevard NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
