Emery E. Thieman

Thieman, Emery E., 93, of Albuquerque, died peacefully on June 11, 2012. Emery was born on October 28, 1918 in Bowen, IL to Annie and Gilbert Clark. She married Lloyd Thieman in 1940 in Quincy, IL and had three daughters. In 1952, the family moved to Albuquerque where she spent many years as a homemaker and worked at Fedway Department Store and Zia Elementary School. Emery is survived by daughters, Alice Thieman, Betty Humphrey and husband Pete, and Patricia Thieman, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Emery was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lloyd Thieman, her parents, and two sisters. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation. Service will be held on Monday, June 18, 2012, 12:00 pm, at John XXIII Catholic Community, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr, Albuquerque. A gathering will be held following the ceremony at the church. Private burial will be held. The family expresses sincere gratitude to the staff of the Rehabilitation Center of Albuquerque for the excellent and sensitive care Emery has received.
