Emilio once said to His Mom and Dad, "Youth comes but once in a lifetime.! And wouldn't make it no where without an education and hard work." Emilio definitely had no problem ‘calling it like he saw it.' And Emilio was right! I knew really nothing about life or death until I got to know Emilio. And boy did I learn...
Every summer Emilio and Gabriel would go to Texas for an adventure of learning. He never forgot about how close his grandma and great grandma were by the way they shared birthdays (were same day) They would always spend every birthday together. What a long way to travel, to meet up with Family, that had to be something special...
Learning different cultures and going to Texas was very different growing up. Trips up to Midland and Odessa with his pops were very much adventures like out of a southern novels.
Emilio was an avid reader and would read himself to sleep every single night, especially history of ancestors and History of Pancho Villa.... From Learning to write and edit movies, Dressing to a T and cruising his Charger or Bike he was destined to be a star that was his dream, he sure did teach me alot ....
Momma Rosa will never forget the time for Christmas…... the twins finally got their wish….. a dog each.... One was a boy and one was a girl... names were Charlie and Angel … They always got their wish.
He was a doer planner and always kept his word.. It was an entire new world introduced to me by this Generous humble and Honorable Man.
Boy you are awesome. I'll never forget you Emilio.
