Emilio "David" Sedillo

Emilio "David" Sedillo, age 64, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, was embraced by the Lord and taken to Eternal Life, Thursday, June 5, 2014. He was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque. David enjoyed being a truck driver; and he loved family gatherings and barbecuing for his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Minnie and Amarante A. Sedillo. David is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Nancy Sedillo of the family home; his children, David Sedillo and wife Evelyn, Ben Sedillo, Donny Sedillo and wife Sharon Garcia; his precious grandchildren, Miranda Sedillo and husband Chris Chadwell, Samantha Sedillo, Julianna Sedillo, Natasha Gonzales, Carlos Garcia, Anthony Garcia, John Gonzales; and his great-grandson, Christopher Chadwell. Also surviving are nine brothers; one sister; four sister-in-laws; four brother-in-laws; and numerous nieces, nephews; and other loving relatives and friends. David will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lives he touched. A Rosary to be recited will be recited Friday, June 13, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 Fourth St., NW, followed by the Service of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. To honor David's wishes, cremation has taken place.
