Emily Anaya

Anaya, Emily Age 76, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Monday, December 19, 2011. Emily loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a CCD teacher, a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Knights of Columbus, Altar Society and money counter at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was also an Avon Representative for many years. She loved to dance and was the Mambo Queen. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Vicente Garcia and great-granddaughter Kaprese Garcia. Emily is survived by her loving husband, Benny of 48 years; children, Fernie Gallegos and husband Vince and Daisy Anaya; grandchildren, Melanie Gallegos, Amber Garcia and husband Jonathan, Eli Gallegos, Jasmine Anaya; great-grandchildren, Carissa Federico, Dominic Gallegos, Paradise Gallegos, Michael Gallegos, Kaylee Garcia, Benito and Santiago Anaya and Silas Gallegos, one brother, Mores Gutierrez; entire Anaya family and numerous other family and friends. Emily will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Visitation will take place at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5525 Fortuna Rd. NW, Friday, December 23, 2011 from 9:30 am to 10:00 am, reciting of the Rosary at 10:00 am; Mass of Christian burial to follow at 11:00 am; Interment will follow Mass at Sunset Memorial Park.
