Emma S. Begay

DZILTH-NA-O-DITH-HLE Emma S. Begay, 79, of Dzilth-Na-O-Dith-Hle, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, in Bloomfield. She was born Feb. 4, 1932, in Blanco Canyon. She was preceded in death by sons, Gilbert Begay and Harold Begay Jr.; parents, Jim and Katie Setzer; and brother, Leo Setzer Sr. She is survived by sons, Clarence Begay, Leroy Begay, Monte Begay, Daniel W. Begay, Wesley Begay; daughters, Jeanne Silver , Jeanette James, Genevieve Cly; brother, Lee Setzer; sisters, Dorothy Russell and Roselyn Leonard; 20 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today, May 7, at First Baptist Church of Farmington, 121 N. Auburn Ave. Pastor Pauline Platero will officiate. Interment will be at Memory Gardens, 6917 E. Main St. in Farmington. The reception will be held at the Huerfano Chapter House in Carson. Pallbearers are Sivei Martin, Travis Begay, Bradley Setzer, Harvey Setzer, Johnny Russell and Leander Henderson.
