Emma Lopez

LOPEZ- Emma Lopez passed away on June 29, 2011. She is preceded in death by her parents Isidro and Lola Lopez; sister, Mrs. Peggy Garcia; grandson PFC Victor Salazar, USMC. She is survived by her daughter, Evelyn Salazar; granddaughter, Karen Salazar; great granddaughter, Kylynn Brown; great grandson, Victor Brown all of Albuquerque; special nephew (Retired) USN Commander Don Schade and wife, Monica of Maryland; great nephew Dustin Schade of Virginia; Sisters, Mary Trujillo and husband, Felix, Priscilla Whiting of Albuquerque, Josie Baca and Angie Reynolds of Socorro, Maria Moad of Florida; several nieces and nephews. Emma was a graduate of Regina School of Nursing and worked at St. Joseph Hospital for 40 years as a surgical nurse. Emma was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church for 60 years. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2011 with a Rosary to follow at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. A Mass of resurrection will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church, with interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers are Kylynn Brown, Victor Brown, Eric Garcia, Daniel Gallegos, Roy Lopez and Dustin Schade and honorary Pallbearer Dr. Raymond Matteucci.
