FARMINGTON Erickson Nakai Begaye, 28, of Farmington, died on Friday, May 27, 2011, at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington. He was born May 13, 1983, in Shiprock, to Ellison Begay and Stella Dan. He was born to Hask'aahadzhohà (Yucca Fruit in a Line) and born for Kin inchii'nii (Red House People.) Erickson graduated from Farmington High School in 2003.
He enjoyed being with his family and taking care of his daughter, Tymera LilliRose Begaye. Erickson loved listening to music and writing.
His life was devoted to helping others and making them smile. Erickson enjoyed barbecuing and cooking. He loved to hear people say, "Wow, Eric, you can cook!"
He was preceded in death by his uncles, Harrison Dan, Arthur Dan, Richard Dan, Ernest Dan, Everett Begay, Wilson Begay, Nelson Nakai; baby twin brothers, Jarvison N. Begaye and Jacobson N. Begay; maternal grandfather, Paul Dan; grandmother, Esther Tso Dan; and paternal grandma, Lucille N. Begay. He is survived by uncles, Walton Dan, John Dan and Richardson Begay; the mother of his child, Stacy James; stepchildren, Ashley, Sheyiana and Sarah; his parents, Ellison Begay and Stella Dan; brothers, Elbert N. Begay; sisters, Stephanie (Garrison) Gruber and Sonya (Marvin) Veneno; and numerous aunts and uncles, cousin-brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and friends. Arrangements are with
