Erla Harmina Cimino of Farmington, passed away November 16, 2009. Erla was born in Lubbock, Texas to Clarence Reece and Bertha Davis Reece. In her early 20's Erla worked as a dental hygienist in Los Alamos and Albuquerque, at Lovelace Clinic. Eria met her beloved husband to be, Gerald (Jumbo) Cimino in Albuquerque. They were married for fifty four years. Together they ran a bar business in Albuquerque, later moving to Farmington in 1955 and where they owned and operated the Office Bar. They also owned two motels. Erla had such a great faith in God which she passed on to her children and grandchildren. She belonged to Christian Women's Association and CBN. She traveled to California to sing with the Billy Graham Crusade. Erla has touched many people all her life with love, compassion and her strong faith in God. She always reached out to help others in need. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Elgin Wilson Reece, and her sister, Lois Evelyn Reece Linker. Erla is survived by her daughters, Barbara Sue Minor (Walter Dean) and Geri Cimino Waldroup, her grandchildren, Scott Minor and wife Kelly of Idaho Falls, ID., Christy Minor Kniepkamp and husband Paul of Pinon, NM, Cody Waldroup and wife Dacia and Trisha Waldroup. Also surviving are her great-grandchildren, Alexia and Bianca Waldroup, Callie and Paydon Kniepkamp, Laramee Minor and Bryce Henderickson. She is also survived by Martha Cimino, her sister-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Waldroup, Scott Minor, Paul Kniepkamp, Dean Minor, Gene Minor, Larry Waldroup and Vicent Cimino. The family wishes to thank Dr. Robert Burns, Beehive Homes and Northwest Hospice for the wonderful care they gave our beloved mother and to the Rev. Brad Perry.
