Erlinda Ramona "Raymie" Carrillo

Erlinda Ramona "Raymie" Carrillo, age 80, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born March 13, 1943.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Rachel Chavez; sisters: Lucille Archuleta and Connie Patterson; brothers: Danny Chavez, ​Celso Chavez, Alfonso Chavez, and Juan Chavez Jr.

She is survived by: daughters: Carla J. Carrillo, Charlotte J. Carrillo, Cecilia J. Carrillo, and spouse Richard Sedillo; son, Raymond E. Carrillo Jr.; seven grandchildren: Danielle Hernandez, Odelio Sanchez, Melanie Gonzales, Estrella Thompson, and husband Jessie Thompson, Matthew Gonzales; Xavier R. Sedillo, and Noah U. Sedillo; four great grandchildren: Makaela Cabrera, Jordan Cabrera, Adalynn Thompson, and Lainey Thompson.

She was a graduate from Albuquerque High School.

She was an electronics soldering technician at Motorola and General Electric for 20 plus years.

Her hobbies and interests included: art, coloring, reading, ceramics, loved cats, gardening, nature, and cooking. She also enjoyed being a Grandma at East San Jose Elementary.

Charities that she contributed to include March of Dimes and St. Jude's Children plus many others.
