Erlinda Griego

Griego, Erlinda Age 64, our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014. She was born on April 23, 1949 to Lee and Efrem (Garcia) Lopez in Cimarron, NM. She was raised in Raton, NM and graduated from Raton High School. She served our country in the US Marine Corps. She moved to Albuquerque in 1969 and work in the electronics manufacturing industry. Mrs. Griego enjoyed crossword puzzles, computer games, her dogs, fishing, camping and traveling. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Dennis "Jerry" Griego, of Albuquerque, NM; son, Terry Griego and wife, Virginia, of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Kasey DeHerrera, Jonathan DeHerrera, Alicia Griego, and Marcos Griego; siblings, Rufino Lopez, Rita Martinez and Sally Lopez. She was preceded in death by a son, Anthony DeHerrera, and sister, Flora Lopez. Viewing and Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho. The Rosary and Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 PM, also on Wednesday, April 9, 2014. Entombment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park.
