Erna Komposch

Komposch, Erna Age 78, passed away on the morning of July 14, 2012 in Rio Rancho, NM. Erna is survived by her husband, Felix Komposch; children, Debbie Dench, Ron Komposch and wife Becky; grandchildren, Christie Dench and fianc�?© Ryan Kelley, Tiffany Hamp and husband Joshua Hamp, Richard Dench II, Joshua Komposch, and Caroline Scripter; great- grandchildren, Aidan Kelley, and Peyton Kelley; sister, Hedi; brother, Karl of Austria; numerous friends around the world. Erna was born on October 25, 1933 in St. Polten, Austria to parents Karl and Paulina Wessnitzer. She met the love of her life when she was 14, and married Felix just a few years later on September 26, 1952. Erna and Felix left Austria during WWII and moved to Canada. After establishing themselves, they moved to New York where they had two children, Debbie and Ron. In 1979, Erna and her family moved to New Mexico, where she resided in Corrales and Rio Rancho for many years. Erna had a very full and eventful life with her family, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved drives up to the Jemez Mountains on Sunday afternoons with Felix, cooking her famous German potato salad, and spending hours at her sewing machine. Erna had nothing but love in her heart for everyone around her. She will be greatly missed.
