Ernest P. Duran

Perfecto Ernesto Duran, age 83, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 30th, 2025. He was born in La Jara, New Mexico on September 13th, 1941. He was preceded in death by his parents Tomas and Franciscita Duran, his brother Tommy Duran (Becky) and son in law Anthony Maestas.

Ernest is survived by his beloved wife Theresa Duran of 57 years. Devoted father of Sandra Mather (Joe), Michelle Maestas (Anthony) and Tamara Campbell (Scott). Brother of Pat Duran (Lita), Leonard Duran (Julia), Rosemary Lopez (George), Rudy Duran & Ruth Duran. Grandchildren Amber Martinez (Anthony), Anthony Maestas (Kylie), Hannah Watson (JT), Andrew Duran, Adrian Maestas, Jonathan Mather, Marissa Campbell and 5 great grandchildren.

There was nothing that Ernest enjoyed more than spending time with his family, attending Vision City Church and playing his various musical instruments. He had a great sense of humor and was always cracking jokes and making people around him laugh. Ernest had a great personality, and everyone loved to be around him.
