Esequiel Garcia

Esequiel J. Garcia ”Zeke” age 89 passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014.  He is survived by his loving wife Rafaelita of 67 years, daughter Patricia Romo (Lee), 4 sons Larry (Connie), †Eric Garcia (Cyndi), Wayne (Roberta), and Russell (Jeani), sister Julia Fernando, 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents Frank & Carmen Garcia and sister Alice Sanchez.  Zeke served our country in the US Navy during World War II, worked for the Civil Service at Kirtland AFB, and retired at age 55 after working for 38 ½ years.  He took pride serving as a Boy Scout Master for many years and served as Treasurer for Los Griegos Neighborhood Association.  Zeke was a dedicated faithful member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, a lifetime member of the Golden Eagles Association, National Active & Retired Federal Employees Association and the S.N.M.D.M.P. #2 Alameda, Nuevo Mexico.
