Estella V. Gallegos

Estella V. Gallegos, age 85, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, went home to be with Jesus, Thursday, February 13, 2014, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Rivera, NM and was a resident of Alameda, where she was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Estella is survived by her loving children, Julia Gallegos, Geraldine Stevens, Cristina Gonzales, Roberta Olivas, Tommy Gallegos and Gloriana Gallegos; her precious grandchildren, Alejandra and Victoria "La Negra" Delgado, Jessica Hernandez, Becky Martinez, Gilbert, Fabian, and Elias Gonzales, Ignacio and Felisha Olivas, Benjamin and Robert Stevens; 20 great-grandchildren; her brother, Alfonso Vigil; and numerous other relatives and friends. Estella will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be held Monday, February 17, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services - ALAMEDA MORTUARY, 9420 Fourth St. NW, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final Viewing will be Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. also in the Chapel. Service of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 9502 Fourth St. NW. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Fabian Gonzales, Leon Yuricks, Tommy Gallegos, Benjie Stevens, Paula Gutierrez and Alejandra Delgado. Honorary Bearers will be Victoria "La Negra" Delgado, Robert Stevens, Elias Gonzales, and Jessica Hernandez.
