Estephania Steffi"" Alves

ALVES-“Estephania Rose Alves “Steffi”, 72, passed away on July 10, 2010. She was born April 3, 1938 in Provincetown, MA to Anthony Joseph and Teresa Marie (Enos) Alves. She is survived by her son, Barry Francis Carreiro Jr.; Grandchildren, Christopher Michael, Barri June, Corey Francis, Casey, Barry Russell. Steffi was resident of Albuquerque since 1962,went to Providence High School in 1956, Albuquerque Beauty College in 1969, Academy of Beauty Culture 1970, NM Real Estate Institute in 1987, was a Hairstylist and Salon Owner from 1970-1990, served as trustee, secretary and President on the board of Albuquerque Hairdressers and Cosmetology Assn. She obtained the Hairstyling Awards 4-1st place, 32nd place NMHCA, she was also a member of Research and Development Division for Redken Labs, serving as a teacher and product researcher, product award for top sales, top listing, top producer, outgoing referrals, Presidents Awards. She was also the President of Academy North Neighborhood Assn., 1992-2002. She left behind many well loved friends including Judith Ann, Donald Moore and their children Nathan Allen and Patrick Michael and her cats, Angel and Shadow. Memorial Services will be Friday, June 16, 2010 at 2:00 pm held at Daniels Family Funeral Services 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the New Mexico Humane Society.
