Esther V. Gonzales

Esther V. Gonzales of Rio Rancho, NM, passed away peacefully December 3, 2023.  She was born September 23, 1919.  Blessed to escape the devastating Spanish Flu pandemic, she lived to be 104 years old!  Esther was the loving mother of 5 children, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She had such a love for her family, the Lord, and her Catholic faith; never shy to share with others!  Esther was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Felix M. Gonzales, sons Felix “Pinky” Gonzales Jr.  and Michael Gonzales, her grandson Christopher Leon, and all her siblings: Orlando, Sally, Fabie, and Freddy.

Funeral services for Esther will be held on December 11, 2023 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church at 1502 Sara Rd. Rio Rancho, NM 87124.  A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 am followed by Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 am.  Interment will be at Vista Verde Memorial Park at 4310 Sara Road SE Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
