Age 95, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016. She was born and raised in New York, NY on September 30, 1920.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. McDonald. Ethel is survived by her brother Peter Kelly; six children; 12 grand children, and 15 great-grand children.
Ethel was always proud of her Irish Heritage. She loved singing, performing, and entertaining people. Ethel's anthem was, "Let the sun shine and face it with a grin, open up your heart and let the sun shine in".
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 8:30 am on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 2621 Vermont St NE. Memorial reception to follow in the church hall. Interment will take place at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY
In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Ethel's honor to St. Jude Children's Hospital at https://www.stjude.org.
