Eufrosine R Zaplin

Eufrosine (Frieda) Zaplin, 82, a resident of Albuquerque passed away Friday, February 23, 2018. She was born in Cuba, NM on May 13,1935. Frieda was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Heinz; three sons, Roger Zaplin, Earl Zaplin and wife, Carol, and Mike Zaplin and wife, Ann Darrigrand; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Carmen Montenegro, Pepe Chavez and Gloria Montoya; brothers, Daniel, Felix, and Leroy Montoya; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Frieda was a beloved wife, mother, and friend to many. She enjoyed camping and family get-togethers and many years of selling at the Flea Market. Frieda was very kind, generous and loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2018, 1:00 p.m., at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Wyoming Chapel. Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with reception following in Wyoming Sunroom. Interment will take place Thursday, March 1, 2018, 10:30 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
