Eugene Anthony Garcia

Eugene Anthony (Gene) Garcia, 56,went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Sunday, July 31, 2011. He was born on May 24, 1955 to Tony and Connie Garcia, in Orange County, CA. Gene is survived by his loving wife Sandra of 34 years; daughters, Christy S. Mora and husband Matt, and Lynette L. Garcia; son, Tony Garcia Jr.; grandchildren, Mathias Mora, and Angelina Garcia-Vasquez; sister, Eileen Garcia; and brother, David Garcia; father-in-law, Raul and mother-in-law, Connie Garibay; brothers-in-law and sisters in-law, David and Sylvia Gonzales, Joe and Lorie Garibay; Leo and Joella Garibay; Connie Garibay, Ben Chavez, Paul and Alice Garibay, Saul and Joyce Garibay, Danny and Vangie Garibay and numerous other friends and family. He is preceded in death by both parents. Gene loved attending church and fellowshipping. He adored his family and loved spending time with them. He also enjoyed listening to 70's and 80's music, fishing, traveling, camping with his family, barbecuing, and watching movies. Gene will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A Funeral Service will take place at Garcia Mortuary in the Chapel of Angels, Friday August 5, 2011 at 9:30 a.m.; Interment to follow at Pajarito Cemetery. Pallbearers are Tony Garcia, Paul Rojas, Jerry Reyes, Matt Mora, David Gonzales and David Garcia.
