Eunice Jeannette Powers
Age 93, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022. She was born in Bayfield, CO on July 12, 1928, to Jesus M. Chavez and Dora C. Rodriguez. 

Eunice is survived by sister, Moureen Schwarting of Albuquerque, NM. As well as her neice, Carrie Casazza of Irvine, CA.

Eunice graduated from Cathedral High and went on to Loretta Heights College where she graduated. On June 10, 1977 she married her beloved husband, Billy C. Powers. Eunice worked at Kirkland Air Force Base for 30 years for the accounting department which she was excellent at her job. She also was a member of Risen Savior Catholic Church until she moved and went to St. John XXIII Catholic Community. She loved daily walks, swimming, dancing, watching Family Feud, listening to music, playing Bingo at church, and reading 'The Power of Positive Thinking' by Norman Vencent Peale. 

Eunice would want to be remembered by others as a woman that always loved the Lord and Mother Mary, showed it by the way she treated others. She was a beautiful person and loved everybody.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Daniels Family Funeral Services Wyoming Chapel from 9:30am to 10:00am with a rosary to follow. Following the rosary a burial will be held at Fairview Memorial Park. 
   
In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Eunice's honor to Special Olympics and Blind Veterans.
