Eva Romero, age 83, went to rest in the arms of our Lord on Saturday, October 19, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Socorro, New Mexico on October 25, 1935 to Tom and Romanita (Gonzales) Taylor.  She enjoyed visiting with her neighbors, rides to the Bosque, going to the casino, and listening and dancing to her grandson Tim A. Silva's Sr. music.  Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Romero, her daughter Victoria Romero, her Son Albert (Pee-Wee) Romero and her great-great grandson Je'ziah Montoya.  Eva is survived by her daughters Patricia A. Romero and Lisa Montoya, sons Leroy T. and Michael G. Romero, also Leslie Montoya and Savannah Santiago (whom she raised) and sister Mary Romero, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren, family and many friends.  Much love and many thanks to the hospice nurses and to her caregivers.  God Bless You All.  

A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 8:30 a.m., followed by the Mass of Resurrection at 9:00 a.m. with Father John Anasiudu at the San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro, New Mexico.  Pallbearers will be Timmy Silva Jr., Leroy Romero Jr., Michael Romero, Alex S.
