Evelyn L. Balok

BALOK- Evelyn L. Balok, 89, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2011 with her loving husband by her side. Mrs. Balok was born on October 19, 1921 to Roy C. and Ellen Johanna (Eaton) Mann of Three Rivers, MI. She married Chester C. Balok on December 5, 1942 in Indiana. They moved to the Albuquerque area in 1959 and then moved to San Jose, CA in 1973. The Baloks returned to the Albuquerque area in 1983. Mrs. Balok enjoyed participating in her daughter’s activities including Campfire. She, also, enjoyed joining her sister, Cosette, at Garden Club meetings. She will be remembered for being a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Balok is preceded in death by her parents, Roy C. and Ellen J. Mann; sisters, Rose Nichols and Cosette Carlson; and a brother, Raymond Mann. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 15, 2011 in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho. Entombment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park.
