Evelyn Louise Barnett

Evelyn L. Barnett Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the age of 66. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Jose and Mela. Evelyn adored her family and loved spending time with them. She was very loving and caring to all. She is preceded in death by her parents Jose and Mela Garcia. Evelyn is survived by daughter Alexandra Rascon and husband Jose Luis; grandchildren Lewis Rascon and Santana Chavez; great-grandchild Josiah Chavez; sister Debbie Abeyta and husband Thomas; nephew Carlos Abeyta; nieces Casandra Anaya and husband Thomas and Beatrice Abeyta; great nieces Isabella and Theresa Duran and numerous relatives and friends. Evelyn will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Rosary will take place Monday, July 22, 2013 at San Jose de Duranes 2110 Los Luceros Road N.W. at 7:00 pm; Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at San Jose de Duranes, at 9:00 am; Interment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Elliot Teller, Raymond Romero, Carlos Abeyta, Lewis Rascon, Danny Perea and Lewis Casias.
