Evelyn Belotti

Evelyn Belotti, age 84, passed away suddenly on May 3, 2017.  She was born April 21, 1933, in New York, New York to Rosario and Angelina Zito.  Evelyn is survived by sons Jerry, Chris, and Ron, her daughters in law Janet and Nicola, and her grandchildren Nicholas along with his wife Elena, Vincent, Christopher and Amanda.  She is preceded in death by her husband Angelo, and her sister Theresa and brother Charles.   She and her family moved from Wappingers Falls, New York to Rio Rancho, New Mexico in 1970.  
Evelyn worked for several periods in her lifetime in the clerical field and was always a friendly face at each of her employments.  Mostly she dedicated her life to her husband and family as a homemaker.  She enjoyed country western dancing with her beloved husband, Angelo.  They were always a sight for all to watch as they would glide across the dance floor. Many friends and family will have fond memories of the many years of 4th of July pool parties hosted by Evelyn and Angelo (Chick) in their well manicured back yard. She loved to garden and looked forward to spring as a time of rebirth and joy.  
A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, May 15, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho, NM.  Interment will take place at a later date at Santa Fe National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
