Evelyn T. Lutz

EVELYN T. LUTZ Evelyn T. Lutz, 79, of Bloomfield, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2010. She was born April 6, 1931, in Little Compton, Rhode Island to James Ferris and Mary (Curt) Ferris. Evelyn married Henry J. Peters and Dennie E. Lutz, both of her husbands preceded her in death. Evelyn married Dennie E. Lutz in 1972 and moved to Bloomfield in 1973, where she resided for her remaining 37 years. She was married to Dennie for thirty-eight years before his passing in 2009. Evelyn was a dedicated housewife, mother and grandmother who was also an avid gardener, generous person with a good sense of humor. She will be greatly missed. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Dennie as well as her first husband, Henry J. Peters; her in-laws, Wilbert and Cecilia; brother-in-law, Richard and sister-in-law, Leota; parents, James and Mary Ferris; brothers, Jimmy and Manny; sisters; Mamie, Lily and Nancy; grandchildren, Henry Jr. and Dennie. She is survived by her sons, Henry (Gail), Eric and Anthony Peters; daughter; Christine Baesemann: brothers, Tony, Mario and Frankie; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Closed casket Visitation for Mrs. Lutz will be Wednesday, December 15, 2010 from 5:00 " 7:00 pm at Cope Memorial Chapel of Farmington. Closed casket Funeral services for Evelyn will be Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the Cope Memorial Chapel of Farmington.
