Evelyn H. Schnick

SCHNICK_Evelyn H. Schnick, 94, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 16 years, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2008. Evelyn was born February 23, 1914 the daughter of Martin and Johanna Kampa Walchak in La Crosse, Wisconsin. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Felician Sisters Auxiliary, and the Woman's Club of West Mesa. Evelyn loved to sew, and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Johanna Walchak; and one brother, George Walchak Evelyn is survived by two daughters, Joanne Rink and husband John of Rio Rancho, NM, and Mary Ward and husband Mel of Santa Fe, NM; one granddaughter, Shannon Spitzmiller of Rio Rancho, NM; one great grandchild, Stephanie Spitzmiller of Rio Rancho, NM; and one sister, Catherine Fuchs of La Crosse, WI.
