Togami, Evelyn Hisako

Our loving sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Evelyn Hisako Togami, 95, peacefully departed this life on January 6, 2016.  

Evelyn was born on December 9, 1920 in Albuquerque.  She married Arthur on August 10, 1947.  Together, they proudly tilled the earth and grew fresh produce for their communities from Bluewater to Albuquerque and ultimately establishing Togami Farm in Los Lunas, farming for 49 years until they retired in 1996.  

She enjoyed spending time with loved ones, travelling, bowling and casino hopping.  

She was preceded in death by her father, Moriichi Saeda, mother, Hisayo Saeda, husband, Arthur Togami, son, Bob Togami, and sister, Helene Saeda.

She leaves to cherish her memory, sister Mary Matsubara (Charlie), brother Thomas Saeda (Mildred), children, Shirley Yonemoto (Roy), Steve Togami, daughter-in-law, Marcia Togami, cherished friend and confidant, Bebe Gutierrez (Hank), grandchildren, Laura Togami (Rohn), Carli Yonemoto (Eddie), John Togami (Trey), Jodi Yonemoto (Brett), great-grandchildren, Sophia and Olivia and numerous loved family members and friends.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 6:00-8:00pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE,  A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 2:00pm with graveside service immediately following at Sandia Memory Gardens, 9500 San Pedro Dr. NE.
