Everett Bert Breck III

Everett Bert Breck, III passed away on May 10th, 2014 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born January 11th, 1947 in Alliance, Nebraska to Everett and Ellen Breck. The family moved to Albuquerque in the early 1950's where he met the future love of his life at age 8. After serving proudly in the Marine Corp during the Vietnam Era, he returned to Albuquerque and graduated from the University of NM with a Master's Degree in Accounting. He worked for many years at the Public Service Co. of NM and Walmart. Throughout his life he was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and Mickey Mantle. In addition, another of his favorite pastimes was visiting the �happiest place on earth�, Disneyland. Bert is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jeanne Breck of Los Lunas, NM; children, daughter Stephanie McCorkle and her husband Wayne of Dallas, TX, son Stewart Breck of Albuquerque, NM, mother Ellen Breck of Belen, NM, sister Diana Peterson of Waterbury, CT, brothers Scott Breck and Rex Breck of Belen, NM and nephew Bruce Peterson of Los Lunas, NM. A graveside inurnment service with military honors will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 10:30 am. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the Wounded Warrior Project www.woundedwarriorproject. or to the Alzheimer's Association www.alz.org.
