Faustino Benavidez Jr. 79. Faustino is survived by his wife Donna of 32 years, sons, Jacob, Jeremy, and Paul; daughter, Veronica; brothers, Orlando and wife Carmen, Mundo and wife Antonia, Johnny and wife Silvia, Ben and wife Dolores all mourn his passing along with his six grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many nieces & nephews. Faustino was preceded in death by his father Faustino Sr., his mother Carolina, and his son Mark. Faustino was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was kind to everyone he encountered. He loved horses, hunting, boxing matches, playing guitar and singing songs of worship. He also loved spending time with his family. Professionally Faustino worked as a pressman for over 40 years at the Albuquerque Publishing Company. He was a wise and kind man who loved to share words of wisdom with anyone who would listen.
A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 11 a.m. at Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. Burial will immediately follow the service on site at the Vista Memorial Park.
