Fay V. Swift

Fay "Nonnie Moon Swift Age 76, went home to be with our Lord on March 28, 2012. Fay was born on July 19, 1935 in Santa Rosa, NM. She grew up in Santa Rosa, NM and during her life also lived in Albuquerque, Navajo Dam and Rio Rancho, NM. Fay was a retired member of the Navajo Dam Volunteer Fire Department. She loved the outdoors, fishing, gardening and travel. She also enjoyed reading and crocheting. However, Fay��?�s greatest love in life was her family, which she cherished and adored. Fay was met in Heaven by her mother, Stella Cockrell; and brother, Larry Cockrell. She is survived by her three beloved children, Eddie Moon, of Santa Rosa, NM, Sharon Moon, of Las Vegas, NM and Debbie (Romero) and husband, Rudy Archuleta, of Rio Rancho, NM. In addition, Fay is survived by five grandchildren, Kristopher and wife, Jeni Romero, of Rio Rancho, NM, Rico Martinez and fianc�?©e, Matajka Kauzlarich, of Albuquerque, NM, Veronica Martinez and fianc�?©e, Vellore Caballero, of Denver, CO, Ryan Archuleta, of Rio Rancho, NM and Joey and wife, Deidra Hood, of Albuquerque, NM. Fay was also blessed with five great grandchildren, Maya, Julia, Joella, Jalena and Justis. She is also survived by her best friend and sister, Loretta (Cockrell) Martinez, of Las Vegas, NM; her favorite sister-in-law, Betty Jo (Romero) Cockrell, of Las Vegas, NM; godson, Tony Martinez, of Las Vegas, NM; goddaughter, Angie Rivera, of Albuqueruqe, NM as well as numerous nieces, nephews and "out-laws. Our Nonnie will be dearly missed and treasured in our hearts forever. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm, Monday, April 2, 2012 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM. The Mass will be held at 10:30 am, Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, 1502 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM. A Rosary and burial will occur in Santa Rosa, NM at a later date.
